On Foot
From the Tucson Botanical Gardens: Yume Japanese Gardens is immediately south of, and a four-minute walk away from, the Tucson Botanical Gardens at 2150 North Alvernon Way.
By Car
From I-10 East or West: Take the Grant Rd. Exit No. 256 eastbound and proceed 4.8 miles on East Grant Rd. to North Alvernon Way. Turn right (south) and drive two more blocks to the Gardens on the left.
From downtown Tucson: From Stone Avenue and Broadway Blvd. take Broadway eastbound 3.6 miles to North Alvernon Way. Turn left (north) on North Alvernon Way and drive 1.7 miles to the Gardens on the right.
From Tucson International Airport: Take the airport exit, which becomes Tucson Blvd. northbound. Continue 3.4 miles to South Kino Parkway and turn right (north). Proceed 4.6 miles (South Kino Parkway will become Campbell Avenue) and turn right (east) on Speedway Blvd. Drive 1.9 miles to North Alvernon Way and turn left (north). Proceed 0.7 miles to the Gardens on the right.
From the University of Arizona: Take University Ave. eastbound to Campbell Ave. and turn left (north). Proceed 0.2 miles and turn right (east) on Speedway Blvd. Drive 1.9 miles to North Alvernon Way and turn left (north). Proceed 0.7 miles to the Gardens on the right.
By City Bus
The Gardens are served seven days a week and year around by the Sun Tran No. 11 bus, which connects with the Tucson International Airport. To reach the Gardens from the Ronstadt Transit Center in downtown Tucson, take the No. 8 bus westbound on Broadway to Alvernon and transfer there to the No. 11 bus. North-bound buses stop at the parking lot of the Gardens, on the east side of North Alvernon Way. South-bound buses stop one half block south of the Gardens, on the west side of the street.
